NEA Ltd represents a spin-off Company of the University of Ferrara (UniFe) with the aim of exploiting the results of its research activities and for developing new products and services with high technological impact. In line with this, some NEA founders have long scientific experience in universities and research institutes, while others have long professional and enterprise experience. Also, the registered office of the company and bulk activities are located in the scientific-technological campus of the University.
Due to the strong interaction between the academic world (UniFe), the research and the business realm, NEA Ltd develops and provides innovative projects in the frame of environmental and renewable energy sectors, and particularly in the low and medium enthalpy geothermal systems; but also training courses and education in the broader environmental and geothermal sectors.
